Xitech has learned that to maintain a constant contact with the Free Product plume over long periods of time, product must be recovered INTERMITTANTLY. Ideally, Free Product should be recovered at a rate that is equal to or slower than the recovery rate of the formation. This is why you will find Xitech's environmental controllers all provide intermittent operation of the skimmers and pumps.
