Groundwater Environmental Remediation Pumping
Xitech has created five unique groundwater environmental remediation pumping systems for environmental consultants to apply to their contaminated groundwater properties. These systems were specifically designed for maximum effectiveness and minimum maintenance for:
- Properties containing dissolved only contaminates in groundwater
- Properties containing dissolved contaminates in groundwater and floating LNAPL on top of the groundwater
- Properties containing dissolved contaminates in groundwater, floating LNAPL on top of the groundwater, and contaminated soil vapors
Xitech’s groundwater pumping system for “Dissolved only” sites consists of an AI400 bottom loading, automatic, piston driven, pneumatic, groundwater pump, a programmable (8 station) pump controller, and a “True” water level switch. The True level switch is attached near the inlet of the AI400 groundwater pump. This single level switch sends a signal to the above ground pump Controller when the top of water rises above the switch and when the top of water drops below the switch. This Controller provides programmable control of the water depression level. Note, the “True” single level switch does not react to the presence of free product, ONLY water.
Xitech’s total-fluids (Single Pump) groundwater pumping system can maintain a tight groundwater cone of depression and constantly recovers floating LNAPL. However, this total fluids pumping system will require a full above ground treatment system consisting of an oil-water separator, air stripper, air oxidizer, and carbon filtering. This total-fluids pumping system consists of the same technology mentioned above.
Xitech’s total-fluids (Single Pump) with soil vapor extraction (SVE) groundwater pumping system can maintain a tight groundwater cone of depression, constantly recovering floating LNAPL, and recover soil vapors. This total fluids pumping system will require a full above ground treatment system consisting of an oil-water separator, air stripper, air oxidizer, and carbon filtering. This total-fluids pumping system consists of the same technology mentioned above plus an SVE system.
Xitech’s total-fluids (Dual Pump) groundwater pumping system maintains a tight groundwater cone of depression, recovers floating LNAPL to a sheen, and requires ONLY an above ground carbon filtering treatment system. This total-fluids pumping system consists of the same technology mentioned above and a separate oil skimmer system.

This system will require an air stripper, air oxidizer, carbon filtering, and SVE system. This total-fluids pumping system consists of the same technology mentioned above, a separate oil skimmer system, and an SVE system.
